Dolly Blues Add Trio to Squad

.....Rodrigo Branco on loan from npower League Two new boys Fleetwood Town.

Joining him at Giant Axe are striker Bradley Hubbold and winger Matty Dodwell.

Branco signed for local neighbours Fleetwood on a professional contract this summer, but has been looking to get regular first-team football.

With Lancaster short of strikers, caretaker boss Mick Hoyle was keen to secure the services of the former Blackburn Rovers triallist.

The striker has signed on a three-month loan at Giant Axe and will be set to play for the Dolly Blues today in their FA Trophy clash with Wakefield.

Joining City in their strike options with the departure of Joe Bunney will be striker Bradley Hubbold, who signed with the Dolly Blues from North West Counties League side Holker Old Boys.

Hubbold, who had impressed for the Cumbrians this season, joins Lancaster alongside former Lancaster and Morecambe College winger Matty Dodwell.

The local player joins from North Lancashire side Cartmel FC as Hoyle attempts to strengthen his midfield in the wake of the departures of Simon Wills and Zach Clark.

All three signings are expected to feature today against Wakefield with £2,300 at stake for the winners.
