....South club Sutton United, is starting to firm up his opinions about some of the players who have been appearing in the pre-season games.

Matt Reece, a forward who shone in Sutton`s Suburban League team last season, has signed forms after impressing in pre-season and working hard.

Jamie O'Connell, a midfielder most recently with Notts County, is returning to the game after a lengthy injury and has also signed Conference forms, while Reece Jones, a Welsh Youth international midfielder who was with AFC Wimbledon last season, has also signed league forms after impressing the coaching team.

Michael Abnett a defender who played at Crystal Palace and then for BI Bolungarvik in Iceland last season before playing a few games on his return from Iceland at the end of the season at Whyteleafe, has signed a contract with the Gander Green Lane outfit.
