.....the services of 35-year-old Jamie Stuart after the defender was released by AFC Wimbledon, who he captained on their return to the Football League last summer.
Stuart began his career with Charlton Athletic, where he made fifty appearances after graduating through the youth ranks and gaining England caps at under-18 and under-21 level.
He went on to play for Millwall, Bury and Southend before dropping in the non-League game with Hornchurch in 2004, and later that season began a five year stay at Grays Athletic, featuring in promotion to the Conference at the end of his first season and twice winning the FA Trophy.
He then joined Rushden & Diamonds, where his form captaining a team that also included Simon Downer earned him inclusion in the Conference team of the season in 2010, before moving to Wimbledon in January 2011.
He was a regular for the remainder of that season as Wimbledon gained promotion to the Football League and scored their first goal in the League against Bristol Rovers.
