Double Boost for Rovers
Yan Klukowski

.....Green Rovers will be just as pleased to hear that key midfielders Yan Klukowski and Kieron Forbes have both agreed contract extensions.

Forbes, recently returned from England `C` duty in Russia, is now contracted until the end of the 2014/15 season, with last season’s `golden boot` winner Klukowski extending his deal to the end of 2013/14.

Both players were pivotal in Rovers’ excellent campaign last season, with Klukowski pitching in with eighteen goals and Forbes impressing enough to get the international call at England ‘C’ level.

Rovers` manager David Hockaday said: “This is big news for Forest Green. Yan and Kieron were massive for us last season, and will continue to be important players as we look towards the Football League. This club has got big ambitions, and that means hanging on to your best players as well as bringing in quality additions to the team.”
