Duffield Fills The Gap

Peter Duffield

....fill the gap in the squad left by Steve Warne's early recall by Matlock Town.

Duffield has signed Ben Leonard from NPL Premier Division side Frickley Athletic.

Leonard is a powerfully built central midfielder who, in his early career, earned a one-year contract at Bury after impressing the Shakers management team in pre-season.

Leonard has also had previous non-League experience at Hallam and Dinnington Town before joining Sheffield FC in November 2008 and then moving onto Stocksbridge Park Steels.

He joined Buxton in the summer of 2011 before his penultimate move to Frickley.
