.....set to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a cruciate injury.
The 24-year-old was stretchered off during the first half of the Stags opening match against Newport County on August 11th after an awkward fall.
Since then, results from a scan have shown a tear in his cruciate ligament.
Assistant-manager Adam Murray said: “It’s not looking good for Ross. He has a tear in a ligament in his knee. He’ll be lucky if he gets back for the season.
“We’re gutted for Ross. We have to stick by him now and make sure he gets the best treatment and get him fit as quick as we can.”
