Midfielder Ricky Edwards is the latest to sign on for Aveley ahead of the new Ryman League Division One North campaign.

Edwards Becomes Latest New Miller

The central midfielder was part of the Waltham Abbey side that started in the Ryman Premier in 2009/10 and has been snapped up by Millers boss Justin Gardner. Edwards scored in the opening friendly a 5-2 win over London Lions as the Mill Field outfit prepare to travel to take on Kent Hurlimann League side Fisher FC on a 3G surface at Bacon’s College. And boss Gardner is delighted with his new addition. “Ricky played for Waltham Abbey in the Ryman Premier. He is a tough-tackling and hardworking central midfielder who is a good addition to the squad.

“I feel he will play a big part in our season.”
