A statement from the club reads: “We have been informed by the FA that they will not grant us the necessary ground grade for promotion to the Ryman League due to certain aspects of the seated stand, namely the backing of the stand.

“Due to the costs and time scale involved we feel the only thing the club can do is go out and attempt to win the Essex Senior League again and make sure there is no reason the graders can attempt to fail the ground nest season.”
