Goole AFC, despite suffering relegation from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North, have announced that their management duo of David Taylor and Derry Robson will be staying in their positions for the 2017/18 season.

The duo were appointed during difficult times, being the club`s third management team of the season, and they quickly brought stability to the team, recruiting well and some positive results followed.

Unfortunately, those results were not enough to avoid relegation but the club were extremely encouraged by the effort, ethic and desire shown by the team.

All are now looking forward to a well-earned rest following tomorrow’s final game of the season but are equally excited by the challenges the new season will bring.
