Farsley Celtic have announced their other joint-manager Neil Parsley has parted company just weeks after helping guide them to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier.

Just 24 hours previously the club had revealed that John Deacey had left Throstle Nest.

The pair led Celtic to promotion at the end of the current season. They went up after beating Ossett Town in the play-off final. Parsley had been with the team since they reformed in 2010 and was also at Celtic before their demise.

A statement on the clubs website read.

“The Farsley Celtic FC Board regret to announce that Joint-Manager Neil Parsley has parted company with the Club with immediate effect. The announcement follows yesterday’s departure of John Deacey.

“We would like to place on record our thanks to Neil for all his help over a great number of seasons with the club, and wish him all the best for the future.

More information will follow over the next 24 hours when the club will make a further statement following the departures.”
