Karl Clair

In May 2011 tricky forward Clair left Liverpool`s academy to join the Nike Academy at Loughborough University for a year.

Clair was seen as one of the Reds' brightest prospects until injury curtailed his development following an appearance in the 2009 FA Youth Cup final.

Since then the 19-year-old has battled to overcome a serious knee problem and attempted to kick-start his career at the Nike Academy.

He has recently been trialling with Football League clubs but has now signed for Motors.
