Marc Bircham

.....South Midlands League Premier Division club Aylesbury United.

Midfielder Bircham is a full Canadian international with seventeen caps and one goal who made over 150 appearances for R`s having joined from Millwall.

His last professional club was Yeovil Town before being forced to retire from the game at the end of the 2008/09 season after a series of ankle injuries.

He currently works as a coach with QPR and will feature for United as and when available, although he is expected to be involved in the season's opener on Saturday.

Last season he made a one-off appearance for brother Lee's former club Leverstock Green.

Meanwhile, leaving Aylesbury before a ball has even been kicked is defender Craig Preston, to join Berkhamsted.

Preston only joined the Ducks earlier this pre-season, but has decided to link up with his local club where, at the age of 36, he will be guaranteed a starting place.
