.....failed - get the Sussex County League club into the Ryman League.
Maher is starting his first full season as Lobsters boss with a home game against Chichester City today and he has one goal in sight - the title. "I want to take the team as far as we can go," the young manager said. "We aren't going into the season thinking we want to avoid relegation, we want to win every game.
"We will take one game at a time but we're confident."
Jon Difford will stay on as captain, but Maher has made several changes to the Redhill squad to build what he believes is a competitive side for Division One.
"Sean Kelly is a tremendous player and gained a lot of experience while he was playing professionally in Ireland," Maher explained.
"Gustavo Sousa Mota is a class player and has exceptional talent, especially considering he is still 17.
"And I've never seen Gavin Gordon in such great form. Gavin and Jimmy Davis will be a partnership to look out for."
However, one player Maher won't have at his disposal is newly-signed goalkeeper Chris Duffy, who injured his ankle while playing in a friendly against Walton Casuals at the weekend.
"Chris went over on his ankle and sprained some ligaments. He will probably be out for two or three weeks," the manager said. "There is no point bringing in another keeper for three weeks.
"We have Andy Greaves at the club who we have full faith in and who has shown he can play first team football in the past."
