Ryan Austin

....of vastly experienced central defender Ryan Austin.

The 27-year-old has spent the last eight seasons with Burton Albion and has amassed well over 250 appearances with the Brewers in both the Conference and the Football League.

Austin had begun his career with Crewe but moved to Burton in 2004 where he quickly demonstrated his commanding abilities and versatility, comfortable in the middle of defence or right-back.

He played a big part in the team's promotion from this division to League Two in 2009 and has featured regularly since, not least nearly forty appearances last season.

Nicknamed 'Rhino', Austin stands at 6`3” and was a surprise departure from the Pirelli Stadium at the end of last season as Burton began work under new management.

He has agreed a one-year deal to become a Harriers` player.
