Experienced Jones Joins Shirebrook

....squad this week with the signing of 32-year-old experienced defender Tom Jones.

Last season Jones skippered ambitious NCEL Premier Division side Staveley Miners Welfare, and they just missed out on a trip to Wembley in the FA Carlsberg Vase after narrowly losing to the eventual winning finalists, Dunston UTS, over two legs in the semi-final.

Previous clubs in Jones’ impressive non-League CV include Worksop Town, Sheffield FC, Ilkeston Town and Gainsborough Trinity.
