The Nigerian striker scored thirty-seven goals in ninety appearances for the Greens over two spells with the club, originally arriving at the Lane at the beginning of the 2009/10 season, before returning midway through last season following spells with AFC Sudbury, King`s Lynn Town and Cambridge City and also had trials with Celtic and Southend United during his first year with the club.

Ogbonna will join up with a number of former Soham players at Wisbech, including another one of their new signings, midfielder Rogan McGeorge, who left in December to sign for Mildenhall Town.
