....moving fast in a bid to attract new blood on and off the pitch.
Whaley has persuaded five players - utility man Gavin Cooke, midfielder Kyle Nolan, full-back Dan Jenkins, defender Craig Norman and winger Adam Rothery - to follow him from Ridgeons League Division One side March Town United. He also has high hopes of attracting another Hares star in Luke Pepper.
Whaley said: “The lads have all bought into what we’re trying to achieve and hopefully ‘Pep’ will do the same.”
Whaley also hopes to draft in former Peterborough Northern Star number two and Raunds Town and Rothwell Town manager Ian ‘Minty’ Jackson as a new head coach for the club.
Jackson is a highly-respected coach, especially for his work with goalkeepers, and is almost certain to move on from the city outfit following the departure of boss Chris Plummer.
