....signings as the team begins to take shape ahead of the opening day fixture.

Grainger is delighted with the squad and how well it is coming together and the announcement of the following five players has further excited both Grainger and Karl Johnson.

The five latest signings confirm are Matt Paynter, Wes Boatwright and Warren Reddick, who were all with the Jockeys last season, Steve Bugg from Soham Town Rangers and Aaron Rutter from Lakenheath.

Grainger said: "These are fantastic players who bring a mixture of youth and experience and I am delighted to welcome them to the squad.

“Aaron Rutter has played at Newmarket before and knows what it takes to succeed at this level, and Steve Bugg brings the experience that is also needed after spells with Soham Town Rangers and Newmarket."
