Evo-Stik League South East club Bedford Town have signed former Nuneaton Town attacking midfielder Michael Gyasi.

As a youngster, Gyasi was on the books of Chelsea, who signed him as an 11-year-old from Northampton Town for a reported £10,000 fee, and then Leicester City.

He has also represented Germany at under-15 level.

He joined Nuneaton`s academy last season and scored 5 goals in four appearances on loan at Heather St Johns in the Midland League.

He has had trials this season with the likes of Swansea City.

Michael`s brother Joel plays for the Eagles` league rivals AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
