....Trophy showdown against Bedfont Town.
The club will pocket a cool £3,000 if they win the Second Qualifying Round tie at Park Drive.
And they have given their chances a major shot in the arm by completing the signing of former England `C` captain Jamie Smith.
The former Cambridge United, Welling United, Ebbsfleet United and Farnborough centre half or defensive midfielder has been snapped up from Blue Square Bet South side Boreham Wood.
“It’s a massive boost and a real coup for us,” joint-manager Brad King said.
“His track record speaks for itself but he’s become a little disillusioned with football and he was unable to commit to all the travelling involved with playing for a Conference side.
“He wants to start enjoying playing again and he wants to play for a team a bit closer to home.
“He also wants to play for an ambitious team that are going places and that’s why he’s signed for us.
“Jamie’s got plenty of experience and has had a great career.
“He’s a commanding centre half but he can also play in midfield or even up front. He’ll just crack on with the job in hand.”
