The new additions are seen as a necessity by the manager, who said: "We have Simon Smith, Rob Evans, Ollie Chappell, Steve Owens and Will Tomlinson all injured. Lee Smith and Ricky Shortt are away and Warren Hatfield, Rob Paling and Ashley Kitchen have been recalled by their parent clubs for this Saturday so I have had to act fast to get these lads into the club but I am delighted to have them.

“Andy is an experienced defender or midfielder who joins us from AFC Mansfield having previously played for Mansfield Town, Rainworth Miners Welfare and Shirebrook Town. Sam has been involved with Rainworth`s first-team all season and will offer us genuine width. Luke is an experienced full back who has this season been playing in the NCEL Premier with Winterton Rangers and Dave is a big strong striker who we have bought to the club from Shirebrook Town.

“Our squad is now much bigger than I had expected it to be and hopefully I won`t have to clock any more mileage up in my car to sign any more players but with the luck we have been having with injuries this season who knows."

There is also likely to be a belated debut for defender Kyle Ludlow, who dual signed with Clipstone from Hucknall Town last month.
