.....departure of four players this week, yet tipped all of them to have a bright future in the game.
Striker James Reid and defender Luke Edwards have left the club after both had two spells with the Roms last season. Reid initially joined on loan from Sutton Coldfield Town just before Christmas, and then before signed up for the season after a brief return to the Royals.
Edwards signed at the start of 2011/12 from Rugby Town but moved on to Daventry Town and Sutton Coldfield before appearing in the Red and White in the latter stages of the campaign. Two young wingers who signed up in the second half of the season have also left Coles Lane. Former Chasetown player Theo Robinson, and Nathan Demonte, formerly with Daventry Town and Stourport Swifts will be moving on to pastures new.
On all four players, Evans said: "It is always a tough decision to make, but in the summer there are always changes. "These lads have a lot of ability and I am sure they will go on to do well elsewhere - they all have talent, but we recognise the need for a different blend of abilities throughout the squad at the moment. "We have a lot of players coming in this summer and we simply couldn't keep hold of everybody. "I wish them all the best for the future as they are all good lads."
