....signings, with four of last year`s squad also putting pen-to-paper in readiness for the 2012/13 season.

All the new players to have signed have had spells at the club before with the exception of Luke Butcher.

The new signings are Ricky Cornish and Paul Betson, both ex-AFC Sudbury, Shaun Avis and Aaron Turner.

Grainger said he was pleased to have added these players to his squad, all of whom have the experience needed to help take Town back to the Premier Division at the first time of asking.

All the players have been signed from Kershaw League side Lakenheath with the likes of Shaun Avis having had a spell at Mildenhall Town in the past and Turner a spell with Soham Town Rangers.

As well as these four new signings Grainger is pleased to announce that four existing players - David Grainger, Kevin Bugg, Aaron Maskell and James Lane – all signed new deals.

“It is good to see these players come back for another shot at this level as they still have a lot to offer,” said Grainger. “Along with several players re-signing from last season these players will form the basis of the team, with the addition of one or two more who are just finalising things with us.”
