Highly-rated and experienced midfielder Lee Fowler joins the club from league leaders Wrexham for an undisclosed fee.
The Cardiff-born 28-year old played for the Dragons against Fleetwood at the Racecourse Ground in August and made twenty-four league and cup starts for Wrexham after joining the club in January 2011.
Prior to that, Fowler made over 200 appearances for Coventry City, Huddersfield, Scarborough, Burton Albion, Newport County, Forest Green Rovers and Kettering Town. In addition, he has been capped twelve times for Wales at under-21 level.
Town manager Micky Mellon is thrilled with his latest capture: “I am absolutely delighted to sign a player of Lee’s ability. I have admired him for some time and I feel that his signing helps to give us the best midfield unit in the division. Lee is a fantastic acquisition for the football club.”
