....charge of Frickley Athletic, who finished near the foot of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division. The pair joined the club in early October 2010 with the club having just been beaten 7-1 at Buxton.

They turned the Blues` fortunes around quite quickly but the club suffered a downturn in results in early 2011 which resulted in the club narrowly avoiding relegation on the final day of the season.

Hopes were high of a more successful 2011/12 campaign and although the club enjoyed some success in cup competitions league results were much harder to come by resulting in the club finishing fourth-bottom of the table.

However, as mentioned, the Blues did have success in cup competitions, beating Harrogate Town 2-1 in an FA Cup Second Qualifying Round replay to earn their first win against a club from a higher league in fourteen years and reaching the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup Final and the Doodson Sport Cup semi-final.

The club have thanked Peter Rinkcavage and Jason Maybury for their efforts for the club and have wished them well in their future.
