.....Rashid Kamara to the Millers – and hopes another player is on his way. Kamara spent last season with St Neots Town, helping them to promotion to the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division, and can play on either wing and as a striker. Gardner was delighted to bring in Kamara and feels he could make a big difference for the Millers. “Rashid is an exciting signing for us,” he said. “I feel he will cause a lot of teams in this division a problem and is a player the Aveley fans will enjoy watching.”

But the Aveley boss hopes that isn’t the end of his business this week, with another centre back set to arrive at Mill Field in the near future. "I hope to be able to sign a centre back over the next couple of days," he added.
