Radcliffe Borough have announced that manager Joe Gibbons has left the Evo-Stik League North club by mutual consent.

Boro have only one win from seven games this season and were beaten 4-0 at home by Prescot Cables last night.

Chairman Paul Hilton said: “It has been a very difficult start to the season on the pitch, after what had been a very positive summer off the field. We have worked tirelessly to redevelop the club and unfortunately performances this season have not matched the expectations of all concerned.

“Joe is a genuinely great guy and we wish him all the best for the future”.
