Danny Grannon

....Grannon from Blue Square Bet North newcomers Colwyn Bay.

Grannon has helped the Bay to two successive promotions from Evo-Stik North to Evo-Stik Premier and to Conference North.

Grannon has been a key figure of Dave Challinor`s successful side of the past few seasons and prior to this Grannon had won the West Cheshire League three times with previous club West Kirby.

Known for his no nonsense tackling, aerial ability and desire to win Grannon will be a welcome addition to director of football Craig Harrison's plans for the forthcoming season.

Grannon comes in as a replacement for the departed Matty Woodward and will compete with Tommy Holmes, Gavin Cadwallader and Mark Allen as Harrisons squad looks to improve on last season`s eighth place.

Grannon is likely to be available for Friday`s clash at Bastion Gardens with Neil Gibson`s Prestatyn Town subject to his registration being validated.
