....competitions this week rivals the greatest achievement in his managerial career.
In his time as Bracknell Town manager, Tallentire took the Robins to the First Round proper of the FA Cup twelve years ago, where they were eventually beaten by Lincoln City.
However, the two cups Tallentire has won this week – the Hellenic Floodlit Cup last Thursday, and the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy on Tuesday – certainly come close to matching that achievement in Tallentrie's eyes.
“It’s been an amazing week and it certainly comes close to the best in my managerial career,” he said. “It would take a lot to top taking Bracknell into the FA Cup First Round, but for me it`s fantastic because they are my first two trophies as manager at the club.
“And to cap it all, the reserves won their league this week so it's been a monumental few days at Binfield Football Club.
“Winning two cups is a fantastic feeling.
“The profile of the club has been raised, people can see this is a winning place and I’m buzzing about that.”
Binfield face a gruelling run of fixtures now as they visit Wantage Town tonight and then host Highworth Town on Saturday as they look to finish the Hellenic Premier Division in the top four.
Then it is back to cup action as they face Hellenic Division One West side Headington Amateurs in the semi-final of the league cup on Monday night at Hill Farm Lane.
And Tallentire has warned his players to ignore the difference in league positions between the two sides and not to take Monday night’s opponents for granted.
“It’s not going to be an easy game,” he said.
“They’re under no pressure because they just have to turn up and give it their best shot, while the situation for us is that we are the favorites and we are expected to do a job on them.
“There’s a bit of pressure on us but we have a home draw and I would always fancy our chances.
"We’ve just got to make sure that we apply ourselves properly and do not underestimate them."
