....Bet North club Histon in search of more regular first team football.
Fellow scholar Eugene Libertucci could also follow them out of the Glassworld Stadium after trying out for Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side Bedford Town earlier in the week.
Stutes boss Greene said he had hoped they would stay at the club and was disappointed to see them leave.
"How are they going to develop if they keep dropping down the levels?" he said.
"But it’s their decision, not mine. I wanted to keep them at the club and develop them here. They would have had opportunities at some stage this season and in a year’s time could have been decent players."
Greene said Sessions and Day informed him of their decision to leave but he also said that Libertucci, who has not been at the last two training sessions according to Greene, has not been in touch.
"I got a phone call from Eugene’s dad who asked me where he stands. I said that no one is sure of a regular place and that I wanted him in the squad to develop. His dad told me he was going to play at Bedford on Tuesday and I’ve not heard anything since."
Rumours Harri Hawkins has also left appear to be unfounded as Greene said the left-back had been in training yesterday morning as usual and could be in the squad for tomorrow’s Cambs Professional Cup final against Cambridge City at the Glassworld Stadium.
Lewis Taaffe will definitely miss out through injury, but the rest of the team will be less clear-cut, with competition for places in defence and midfield.
"It will be like a proper game so it will be competitive, which is just what we need before the season starts. Both teams should be fit and pretty much ready for the season, so it should be a good match."
