Greens Strengthen at Either End of Pitch
Mo Maan

....fine opening day win at Margate by securing the signature of goalkeeper Mo Maan and Jack Mazzone.

Maan will be a familiar face to Hendon supporters, not just because of his pre-season appearances, but also from the times that he has played against the Greens for his former club Metropolitan Police.

Nineteen-year-old striker Mazzone returned to the club on loan from Blue Square Bet Premier side Woking in time to be involved in Saturday's game.

Mazzone was with Hendon on a dual-registration for the last few games of last season, making a great impression with three goals from just seven appearances.

He signed a contract with Woking during the summer, but the Greens reached an agreement that means that he will be part of their squad through to the beginning of January on a long-term loan.

Maan played in the game at Hartsdown Park on Saturday, whilst Mazzone came on as a 71st minute substitute.

Also now registered with the Ryman League is player-coach Junior Lewis, who will be looking to potentially add to his 149 appearances and sixty-nine goals as the season progresses.
