....Wade to the Ridgeons League Premier Division club.
The Brettsiders lost Leiston hot-shot Lee McGlone to the Marketmen and energetic midfielder Luke Ingram to AFC Sudbury, with both players having been on loan deals from their parent clubs, the latter from Bury Town, last week.
But this week has brought the news that pacey striker Wade, who has made four starts and seven substitute appearances for the Ryman League Division One North side this season, scoring one goal, has signed on loan until the end of the season.
“He will be in the squad for Saturday as Needham want him to play games and the Ridgeons League is a good level for him to come into,” said Dilloway, who was speaking to the Suffolk Free Press in the absence of Stuart Crawford who missed the 2-0 defeat at Dereham Town on Saturday as he was unwell.
“We had spoken to the club about Luke last season and his first-team opportunities were limited and it was no good him playing for their reserves,” said Dilloway, who accepts players like McGlone and Ingram will make and break a side while relying on loan deals.
He added of their withdrawal ahead of Saturday: “Both were very influential players but Dereham is a very, very tough place to go to and we were 2-0 down after 20 minutes and they were pure and simply defensive errors.
“The rest of the game was fairly even but we did not create enough to threaten their goal so it would be harsh to say we should have got something out of it.”
