Hall discussed the work promotion with Eagles` chairman David Howell last November and it was his wish to see the current season out before making an official announcement to retire.
The promotion involves much more of Hall's time and as a consequence, any commitment to football management would be too great to take on.
Hall has stated that he has really enjoyed the last eleven years, initially as reserve manager, then first-team assistant-manager and finally first-team manager and is pleased that the team has improved and finished in its highest league position for some time.
Discussion regarding Hall's successor have been taking place over the last few months and former manager Nick Platnauer will be taking over with immediate effect, assisted by former Northampton Town player and Long Buckby boss Adam Sandy. Steve Jackman will carry on as first-team coach.
Chairman David Howell said: “The club and I are sure the supporters wish to thank Ady for his tremendous commitment and contribution over the last eleven years.”
