....Vaughan on a one-year deal.
The former Evesham United and Romulus man, who played twice for Harriers on non-contract terms last season, was part of the side who took on Walsall in Tuesday’s pre-season friendly game at Aggborough.
The 30-year-old lists Plymouth and Newport County among his previous clubs, and takes his place in the Harriers squad with boss Steve Burr commenting: “We’re quite fortunate to have someone with Nathan’s experience.
“He is quite similar to Tony Breeden in the sense that he has played an awful lot of games at non-League level.
“We have taken a look at a number of goalkeepers in pre-season but none of them really gave us the feeling that they’d push Danny Lewis in the way we’d like, whether they were too young perhaps some other reason.
“Nathan is someone we feel who will come in and do that so we’re glad to have agreed a deal to bring him in.”
Meanwhile, Daniel Bradley recently joined league rivals Alfreton Town after spending time at Aggborough last season.
The club can confirm that, after negotiations between the two clubs due to Bradley’s age, a compensation package has been agreed.
Harriers are to receive a payment of £2,500 from Alfreton and also retain a future `sell-on` percentage should he transfer to another club for a fee in the future.
Furthermore, it was announced last week that Dean Lyness has completed his move to npower League Two side Burton Albion – at present, although talks continue, no agreement on compensation for the 20-year-old has been agreed between the two Clubs.
Finally, Cheyenne Dunkley transferred to Harriers from Hednesford Town earlier this summer. After lengthy and amicable negotiations, the two clubs have been unable to reach an agreement on compensation and shall, to resolve the matter, meet at an FA Tribunal on August 16th.
