....Bet Premier season by winning 2-1 at Ewen Fields against newly-promoted Hyde FC on Friday night.
The two-times Promotion Play-Off losers are determined to make it back up to the Football League automatically this time, but in front of the Premier Sports TV cameras it ended goalless at the break.
And 10 minutes after the restart it was the Tigers who broke the deadlock when Matthew Blinkhorn, who had a loan spell with the Hatters some six years ago, scored on his debut, beating visiting keeper Mark Tyler from just inside the box.
The lead lasted 13 minutes as Luton levelled through Jonathan O`Donnell – his first for the club.
And with the momentum now with the visitors, it came as little surprise when, 12 minutes from time, the in-form Stuart Fleetwood notched his fourth goal of the season already to help the Hatters maintain their unbeaten start and condemn the Tigers to a first defeat after two draws.
