Bailey has featured in the last three Hawks pre-season games, impressing enough to earn a contract over fellow triallist Ryan Wignall.

The 24-year-old debuted for Rangers in the Championship during the 2004/05 season at 17, and stayed on the fringe of the side for the following two seasons, playing eighteen games in all.

He eventually moved on to Grays Athletic in 2008 where he played a further fourteen games, and also ten on loan at Farnborough.

Since then he featured heavily in Ebbsfleet United’s 2009/10 season, playing thirty times, and has also turned out for AFC Telford United and Kettering Town.
