....Danny Haynes their first close season capture.
The 29-year-old ex-Aston Villa trainee arrives from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Coalville Town and Swifts manager Daren Fulford says the capture is a statement of intent as Bolehall eye another title assault in the Midland Combination Premier. "Danny is a fantastic signing and we are absolutely over the moon that he has agreed to join us," said Fulford.
"He's an experience defender but still only 29 so he is in his prime to be honest.
"He's a tough-tackling, no nonsense kind of defender and will really add something to our squad.
"As I say, we are chuffed to bits and we now have the likes of Danny, Adam Wood, Clint McQuade, Will Holyland, Dave Haywood and Dale Lynch to call on at the back.
"The squad is already taking shape nicely and I'm excited about next season now."
Fulford hopes to be able to talk to several players about joining next season, including the likes of ex-Castle Vale pair Nick Ellis and Tez Carpenter plus former Atherstone Town ace Shylo Thomas.
"We will be holding talks with one or two players and will show them the facilities and talk about what we are looking to achieve here," Fulford said.
"We want to sell ourselves to people and entice some players because we believe that we are a Football Club that is really going places.
"Next season is going to be a real challenge for us in a tough league.
"The Premier will include clubs such as Atherstone, Lichfield City and Bromsgrove Sporting next season so we have got to be ready for the task ahead.
"We will need to stay strong and keep our discipline and ensure that the players we bring into the club are the right ones.
"We are determined to, once again, mount a challenge next season but, of course, we need to make sure we don't switch off next time.
"We need to stay focused until the end of the campaign."
