....former Colchester defender returned to Ryman League Premier Division club Lowestoft Town.
The 24-year-old put in a ‘steady’ performance during a run out at Congleton Town on Monday night but it hasn’t been enough to convince Crewe boss Dario Gradi and Steve Davis that he is deserving of a longer stay at Gresty Road.
Haynes-Brown had originally been thought to have been on a two-week trial with the Railwaymen, but after helping Crewe to a 4-0 win at Congleton it was announced on Wednesday that the Blues defender will return to Crown Meadow.
Meanwhile, Christy Finch sign a new one-year extension to his Lowestoft contract. The young striker spent a large part of last season on loan, and last week he agreed to go on loan in the forthcoming campaign to Ridgeons League Premier Division newcomers Gorleston for three months.
Fellow Blues striker Michael Frew is understood to be a couple of weeks away from returning to running after his long injury lay-off, while Matt Nolan has undergone minor surgery, but it is understood he should be training again in a couple of weeks.
