.....signed a deal that will see him playing at St George's Lane this season.

Denny, who has been playing in central midfield alongside Tom Thorley during pre-season friendlies, penned a deal with the club following last weekend`s trip to Bashley.

Denny. who began his career at Stoke City, as did Thorley, managed eight appearances on the bench for the Potters.

Born in the USA to English parents, he moved to the UK in 1994 and began his football career at Stoke City’s academy in 1999.

He moved his way up through the ranks at Stoke before signing professional contract forms in the summer of 2003.

His progress was recognised back across the pond and Denny was capped by the United States at every level up to under-20 and he captained the team in 2005

He has also appeared for Leamington as well as Halesowen Town and, most recently, Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division Hednesford Town.
