....for the Blue Square Bet North play-offs.
Mike Symons’ first half opener was cancelled out by Omar Bogle’s 78th minute equaliser to leave City four points shy of the top five with just two games left.
“We’re gutted we haven’t won the game,” Heeley said. “It’s frustrating because Saturday was an opportunity and I felt we should have seen the game out and got three points.
“That would have made it incredibly interesting but we’re still in there, we’ve got two games to go and it looks like the season’s going to the death.
“The good thing about this league is that in the bottom half there are at least half-a-dozen sides who could get relegated so there isn’t the usual dead rubbers and meaningless games, everybody’s got something to play for.
“You get some strange results and when the pitches dry out that’s conducive to shocks and results you wouldn’t predict so there’s plenty to play for and we’ll keep going.”
He added: “I felt it was a poor goal to concede. We had an opportunity to clear the ball outside our box and we tried to keep it and pass but sometimes it’s just got to be cleared.
“The closing down was non-existent and they scored.”
