The 21-year-old striker, who can also operate on the wing, spent a brief spell on loan at Edgar Street in 2009, making five league outings for the Bulls after arriving from Bristol City.

Jackson has also turned out on loan for Aldershot Town, Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and AFC Telford United, before being released by the Robins at the end of last season, having made just five league outings for them since progressing from their youth ranks in 2009.
