Hillerby has been at the club for four seasons, and says that he's decided to quit because "I've taken the club as far as I can."
He is one of Norton's most successful managers, guiding them to promotion from the Second Division into the first, and establishing them as a solid First Division club, as well taking them to the Quarter-Final of the FA Vase and the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup - the furthest the club has ever reached in both competitions.
"I feel that I've reached a plateau with the club and that it's best that I step down and recharge my batteries.
"A lot has happened in four years, and it's taking a lot of time and effort to stay there. I've asked myself if I can take it forward from here and progress, and I don't think I can. It's been in the back of my mind to resign for a few weeks now."
