Hippolyte has brought in striker David Pratt from league rivals Basingstoke Town and has also snapped up versatile defender Derek Duncan from last season`s Conference South champions Woking.
Pratt a hard working striker who joined Basingstoke in the summer of 2009 from Chippenham Town. He was a key member of the side whilst at the Camrose and was voted player of the year for the 2009/10 season.
At Chippenham, he allegedly broke the world record for the fastest ever red card after getting sent-off in the first few seconds of a match.
He has also represented Swindon Supermarine.
Duncan is a left-back who signed for Woking from Ebbsfleet United in the summer of 2011 but who originally started his career as a left-winger with Leyton Orient.
Joining the O’s at age 16, he went on to make over twenty League appearances before being released in 2007, also having a loan spell at Lewes.
He joined Wycombe Wanderers, making two appearances, before leaving Adams Park in January 2009 and signing for Ebbsfleet until the end of that season before joining AFC Wimbledon in the summer of 2009.
He made thirty-one appearances for the Dons before returning to Ebbsfleet in July 2010 where he was a regular in the promotion-winning side, adding another twenty-eight appearances to his previous thirteen.
The Magpies boss is delighted with the captures and feels both will prove to be valuable additions to his squad.
He said: "I'm really happy. Both are good players and will improve us.
"Both were sought after so we've done well to get them here. It's a good start to the summer."
