Hole`s Back for Common
Lewis Hole

Lewis Hole has returned to the club from neighbours Sidley United and has been joined by former Brighton youth player Chris Cumming-Bart.

Twenty-seven-year-old Hole was a prolific striker for Common for several seasons under previous boss Mark Linch, scoring a remarkable thirty-six goals as the club finished fourth in Division Two in 2009/10.

He left in the summer of 2010 to try his luck with Ryman League outfit Whitehawk, but returned after a few months and spent the remainder of 2010/11 at the Recreation Ground before playing for Sidley last term.

Cumming-Bart, 18, played for Common at youth level before enjoying a couple of years in Brighton’s youth set-up until being released at the back end of last season.

With Hole and Cumming-Bart joining, and Jared Lusted staying, Common should have plenty of attacking options, even though Drew Greenall - who like Lusted joined late last season - is heading back to AFC Uckfield.

Eldridge says that Greenall is the only definite departure at present, although he assumes that another tall forward, Linton Rogers, won’t be staying given that he hasn’t trained with the club so far.
