....League Southern Premier Division club Leamington, manager Paul Holleran has spoken out to set the record straight.
Holleran said: “Like a lot of our players, Jimmy has had a lot of interest in him, and there were two or three clubs locally that have tried to turn his head away from Leamington.
“I had a meeting with Jimmy last weekend and made him fully aware of how important he is to us on and off the pitch. He's been a great lad since I came to the football club and is the sort of person I like around me. He confirmed to me that he wanted to stay at the club and have a good go at next season.”
Holleran also confirmed that David Kolodynski had informed him by text message that he would not be returning next season. The player has since signed for new league rivals Bedworth United.
With regard to the announcement by Halesowen Town that Neil Barnfield has signed for them, the Brakes` manager confirmed that the player had spoken to him about his situation last week, but that he has not heard from him since then, so it is unclear at present whether Barnfield will be a Brakes player next season.
