A defensive midfielder who can also operate in the centre of defence, Fofana, 24, played for CS Sedan, Olympique Noisy-le-Sec and La Vitréenne FC in France before joining Swedish outfit Syrianska FC.

He is now available for selection after international clearance has been granted with his contract running until January 2nd 2013.
