This week saw the start of the Integro League Cup competition for teams in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.
Market Drayton Town, who failed to win a game in the Evo-Stik South so far, achieved a notable 3-0 success at league rivals Chasetown with goals from Craig Ryan after just 2 minutes and then two in the final 13 minutes from Joe Cuff and Andre James.
However, Drayton`s league rivals, Sheffield FC, were hammered 5-0 at Scarborough Athletic where 504 turned up to see the Evo-Stik North complete a nap hand, courtesy of a hat-trick from Emile Sinclair and singles from Danny Stimpson and Billy Logan.
An all-South tie saw a remarkable game at Ashby Avenue between Lincoln United and Corby Town finish 4-4!
Steve Leslie hit a hat-trick for the Steelmen and Danny Brooks a brace for the hosts
However, a late goal from Matt Cotton sent the game into a shoot-out and, after ten perfect penalties, Corby`s Jamie Anton missed the target in sudden death and Kallum Smith scored with the next spot-kick to send Lincoln through 6-5.

The all-North tie between Lancashire rivals Colne and Clitheroe at Holt House was a little less dramatic, with the hosts running out 2-0 winners.
Danny Wilkins broke the deadlock after 68 minutes and a Mark Ayres penalty a minute from time sealed Colne`s passage.
