Bostik League Premier club Leatherhead have signed former AFC Wimbledon player Tom Beere – a player who won the division two years ago.

Beere has previously had spells with Vanarama National League side Gateshead as well as Bishop`s Stortford.

He is a midfielder and one of his most successful loan spells was with Hampton & Richmond Borough when he racked up sixteen appearances and scored an impressive 4 goals in that time as the Beavers won the title.

During his time at Kingsmeadow, Beere made more than thirty appearances for the Dons, and in that time he scored a late goal in the first leg of the League Two play-off final against Accrington Stanley.

Leatherhead`s player-manager Sammy Moore – a former team-mate of Beere`s at AFC Wimbledon, said: “I’m delighted to capture the services of Tom Beere. He will add goals and creativity to our midfield. He has experience of playing League football so we have captured a top player”.
