Bostik League Premier club Kingstonian have announced that former first-team manager Kim Harris has been appointed as interim boss to cover Thursday’s training session as well as Saturday’s league fixture at Lowestoft Town.

This follows the departure of manager Craig Edwards, who resigned yesterday (see separate news item).

A statement from the club reads: “We are extremely grateful for Kim’s assistance in covering this period which allows the club to begin deliberations in the search to find a permanent replacement for Craig Edwards, who resigned as first team manager yesterday morning”.

Edwards left following a poor start to the season. He kept the club in the Ryman Premier last season after a strong April saw them avoid the drop to Step 4.
