Greenwich Borough have confirmed that captain Glenn Wilson has made the decision to depart after a season at the Bostik League South club.

Wilson, 31, joined following a successful trial last summer and was immediately made captain, being a key member of the squad as the club reached the Ryman South play-off semi-final.

The former Rushden & Diamonds, Crawley Town and Aldershot Town defender made fifty appearances, scoring 3 goals in a variety of positions.

Borough manager Gary Alexander said: “We’d like to thank Glenn for his services. He’s been a model professional since day one, and an excellent captain for the club. We wish him well for the future”.
